1 Description
This Job Description applies to M&T Engineer in RBS I&V Dept. of Access Network R&D Center, BJ/CBC.
2 Objective of the job
To support the Radio performance verification unit, Function verification unit and Environmental verification unit within RBS I&V with test environment development and maintenance.
The working areas include hardware and software parts in GSM/WCDMA/TD-SCDMA standards. The objective of M&T is to provide reliable, stable and efficient test environment to fulfill project requirements.
3 Reporting
She/He shall report to RBS I&V M&T team leader and RBS I&V Director.
4 Responsibilities
·To design and develop automatic testing RF boxes and test bed.
·To design and develop automatic testing software, and be responsible for test software version control.
·To design and develop necessary test tools and test methods.
·To maintain the existing GSM/WCDMA test environment with XRV TR system and make trouble-shooting for test environment problem.
·To maintain and manage the testing Database VASS-VB.
·To estimate the man-hour and investment on test environment for every project as an input to project I&V team leader.
·To be responsible for radio test bed lab booking and management.
·External support, e.g. NAL and Trial project.
·Comply with and follow the directive, instructions and procedures in force in the company and CBC/XR.
5 Main tasks
·Test environment hardware (RF box, test equipment) development and maintenance.
·Test environment software (test code, database) development and maintenance.
·Test bed trouble-shooting.
·Test tools and test methods development. |

·M.S. or B.S. degree with major in EE, CS, or Automatic;
·RF test/design experience, good knowledge on radio test instrument;
·Clear concept about 2G/3G wireless communication system;
·Basic Unix operation;
·Labview / VEE programming experience are highly preferred;
·Open-minded;
·Good communication skill;
·Hard-working and responsible;
·Strong initiative and learning willingness;
·Teamwork spirit;
·Fluent spoken and written English. |
