CBC/K is looking for an energetic, hardworking, and creative Ericsson employee to join our expanding commercial management team. This is your chance to join the group that has been given the exciting responsibility of optimizing the commercial strategies for all Ericsson products, and maximizing Ericsson profitability.
The commercial manager is responsible for setting pricing strategies, pricing rules and guidelines, and product prices for the Chinese market. The commercial manager is also the point of escalation when deviations from established price guidelines and levels are requested, and supports the taking of the required business decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish product prices and commercial guidelines for one or more product areas (including GSM, WCDMA, Services, BUBN, SLSI, and IP).
Work with the Regions and National Account to set, implement, and maintain commercial strategy toward one or more customers (including CMCC, CU, CT, CNC, and ERT/EHK customers)
Manage the approval process for deviations from established commercial guidelines, and develop business case, profitability calculations, and Sales Decision materials to support these escalations
Keep track of historical pricing trends and perform price comparisons between different contracts, products, and customers, in the Chinese and global markets
Understand and utilize basic network design principles, the model network evaluation process, and the key determinants of Ericsson profitability. |
| |
Bachelor degree or above, preferably in a science, business or telecommunications discipline;
More than 2 years' experience in commercial, pricing, sales support and/or related functional areas in a communication systems company
Key characteristics needed as price manager:
Strong analytical skills
Business oriented
Creative
High Integrity
Knowledge and experience from network design or product management are optimal
Strong skill in Excel
Fluent in oral and written English
